Football Fashion: Nike's new NFL uniforms

Nike's new NFL uniforms don't get too many chances, but there are slight design changes here and there. And the Seattle Seahawks got a total conversion. But designers can still trust. On Tuesday in New York City, Nike unveiled its new line of NFL uniforms, rolling out revamped outfits and accessories for all 32 teams to wear during the 2012 time of year. Most of the changes are related to presentation—new fabric for increased mobility, a “Flywire” neck designed to offer a shrink-wrap fit and lighter padding round out the Elite 51 unis. With the exception of a flashy facelift for the Seattle Seahawks, few teams got more than the addition of some delicate trim and the trademark swooshes in the design department. But this being the NFL, hype abounds. TIME’s Feifei Sun and Adam Sorensen walk you through the spring fashions.
